Dear Diary

In 2023, I went through a period of uncertainty after a long-time friendship ended abruptly.

I was forced to come to terms with the realization that the friendship was an illusion. A smoke-screen.

After a short period of time, one after the other, many of my long-time colleagues joined me on my new journey.

I was no longer alone and it gave me the motivation I needed to push through.

It took a little over a year to grow into the new me and get over the loss of someone I respected dearly.

For many years prior to 2023, I was Complacent. Comfortable. Content.
Until it wasn't.

I knew I had to make a change, and I forced the answer I needed, expected, and counter-acted immediately without hesitation.

Now, 2 years later, here I am. Happy, autonomous, a team builder, a mentor, a coach.

"Get in, get good, don't quit."

I had wrote down a goal in 2023. Get an office close to home with a view.

By August of 2024, I had an office closer than my old office and now have a beautiful view and an even better location.

Never give up. The gold is around the corner. You have to keep going.

You never know what life will offer you next.

You never know how much longer you have to make great things happen.

So don't wait to make great things happen. Make great things happen everyday.
